Banking and Finance

We represent borrowers as well as financial institutions on a wide range of banking work including syndicated loans, structured finance, acquisition finance, asset finance, project finance, securitisation, derivatives, telecoms finance and international securities work.

Handling transactions is only part of our service. We also advise banking and corporate clients on a range of general strategic issues such as regulatory compliance, new financial instruments. We advise also on legislation affecting banks, financial institutions, including financial holdings on capital adequacy rules.

We have advised on the largest merger of two banks and their financial subsidiaries, including their valuation, merger and exchange ratios, as well as securing regulatory approvals from the Banking Regulation and Supervision Authority and the Capital Markets Board.

We have also been involved in alternative financing transactions, including Islamic-funding techniques.
